Our story began in 2019 with Lobo Sisters (https://lobosisters.wixsite.com/home), a baking venture that shared our love for homemade treats but was paused due to the pandemic. From there, we pivoted and launched Lobo Worldwide Inc. (https://www.loboworldwide.com), specializing in importing high-quality goods from the U.S. for customers across Canada. Now, we’re thrilled to return to our roots in the food industry with Lobo's Eatery and are looking for hardworking, eager-to-learn individuals to join us in creating an exceptional takeout experience.

Crew Member

Position: Crew Member Part Time (20 – 24 hrs per week) 

 

Location: Lobo’s Eatery Inc, 2450 Victoria Park Ave, North York (In-person)

 

Schedule:

  • Day shift

  • Evening shift

  • Weekends as needed

 

Expected Start Date: September 2025

Job Description: We are seeking a Crew Member to support our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu specifications and recipes to ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation of all menu items. 

  • Always adhere to proper food safety and sanitation practices, including storage, handling, and cooking procedures. Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with health code regulations.

  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation, including equipment, utensils, and cooking surfaces. 

  • Keep inventory of supplies and communicate any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager or supervisor.

  • Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and assembling components for dishes. 

  • Prepare, bake, and assemble a variety of baked goods, ensuring they are fresh, delicious, and ready for customers.

  • Will be assigned cleaning duties of your workstation and other areas by kitchen supervisor

  • Ensure orders are correctly labeled and ready for pick-up or delivery.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook in a restaurant or culinary setting preferred.

  • Culinary degree or equivalent training from a culinary institute is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.

  • Basic safe handling knife skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as required.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a hot kitchen environment.

  • Food handler's certificate or willingness to obtain one upon hire.

 

Schedule:

  • 20 - 24 hours/week
